01Information stored on your device
Bible Cards stores local profiles, memory cards, passages, imported text, custom sets, progress, review schedules, practice settings, card images, design choices, and optional recitation recordings you choose to create.
02Microphone and speech recognition
The app uses the microphone and Apple Speech Recognition only during active recitation. Recognition may happen on-device or through Apple depending on the device, language, iOS version, network, and system settings. The submitted Cloud Save design excludes microphone audio and recognized recitation transcripts.
03Optional account and Cloud Save
If you sign in, the provider and Bible Cards may process an account identifier, name, email, and provider metadata. If you enable Cloud Save, selected profile names, saved memory titles and text, review progress, and practice-result metrics are sent to the configured cloud service.
04Optional generated features
When you explicitly request a Memory Song or AI encounter, selected memory text, references, style choices, or brief excerpts from practiced cards are sent through Bible Cards services to configured Google generation services. Do not use those features with private text you do not want the provider to process.
05Purchases and notifications
Apple and RevenueCat process purchase and entitlement information; Bible Cards does not receive payment-card details. Local notification preferences stay on the device. If remote reminders are enabled, a device push token may be registered with the configured cloud service.
06Retention, deletion, and family use
Local information remains until you delete it or remove the app. Optional cloud data remains while needed to provide the feature or until the signed-in account and its supported cloud records are deleted, subject to security, purchase, and legal retention. A parent or guardian should decide whether to create an online account or enable cloud features for a child.
